This piece is inspired by tefiti from Moana, I've kind've eased up on doing fan art, and this is still a really loose interpretation. But I realized I hadn't done anything remotely related to the film and felt like I needed to.
My sister and I saw Moana when it was still in theatres. Our grandpa had just passed away from cancer at the beginning of December and I thought taking her to see a Disney movie in the theatre would be a book breakaway from life.
Proooobably would've helped if someone had told me an elderly grandparent character dies towards the beginning of the film. It was the first movie in a long time to actually make me cry, and I'm pretty sure I traumatized my sister further. However, it was a truly emotionally moving film from beginning to end and quickly turned into one of my favorites.
